Crystal Reiki session includes having crystals placed directly on the body, or the crystals may be placed underneath the table or chair supporting the client. Crystal Reiki clients may select crystals they are drawn to where they could hold these crystals during their healing sessions.  By interviewing the client before the crystal reiki session starts, we are able to determine the best crystals and type of layout to use in order to offer the most effective healing treatment. The reiki practitioner will conduct a reiki healing on the patient while holds crystals.

• First we chose the healing crystal with the properties that are most compatible with the root problem we are trying to heal.
• Next we cleanse the healing crystal with reiki so that it becomes a reiki stone.
• Then we place the healing crystal on the targeted body part of the client and place our hands over it to channel reiki.

Some practitioners charge the crystals and place them on certain areas of the body as they continue on with their reiki treatment which is known as crystal programming. This feels like we have an extra pair of healing hands during the session.
When we’re focusing on chakra balancing, we match the crystals’ colors with the chakras’ colors. For example, we would chose Amethyst for the third eye chakra and Clear Quartz for the crown chakra or using Rose Quartz stone for the heart chakra as it is pink.
